Listen up, Space Fans!
JPL is announcing a new approach to that one special weekend a year when they open their doors to the public and put on display all the ways they are exploring the solar system and beyond.
It’s called “A Ticket to Explore JPL.” And to be a part of it, you must have a ticket. They’re trying this new approach due to the enormous public response to their traditional “come one, come all” open house that has been overwhelming for them. This new approach, being done in the hope to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, is an experiment.
Tickets will be available as of April 25 at 9 a.m. (P.T.) on JPL’s Special Events web page.
Rules
- “A Ticket to Explore JPL” will take place the weekend of June 4th and 5th.
- Tickets are free but limited and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
- The maximum number of tickets per family is five. And to enter JPL you must have your ticket in hand and with a matching ID if you are 18 or older.
- Tickets are not transferable.
