The sale will run from 11:00 am to 2 :00 pm on the patio of The Friends Bookstore, located at 1500 East Villa Street between Hill and Allen Avenues, just east of the Jefferson Branch Library.
Shoppers will find an extensive selection of used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, and a large assortment of children’s titles. Visitors can fill a paper grocery bag with items from the patio sale for $5. Inside the bookstore, another $5 will fill a bag with books, CDs, and DVDs, with the exception of premium books, which will be offered at 50% off.
Proceeds from the sale directly support programs at all 10 Pasadena Public Library branches. These include long‑standing community favorites such as the Summer Reading Club, One City, One Story, and cultural celebrations recognizing Women’s History Month, Black History Month, Latino Heritage Month, Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, and Native American Heritage Month.
Founded in 1975, The Friends of the Pasadena Public Library have spent five decades championing library services, cultural programming, and special initiatives that spark curiosity and foster a love of reading for patrons of all ages.
