On Monday, Feb 26, 2024, at 6:23 am, Pasadena Police officers responded to four separate calls of rocks being thrown through residential windows.

Pasadena Police officers investigated the incidents and arrested Kirk James Alexander, a 37 year old Altadena resident.
Alexander’s recent arrest follows a similar incident in December 2023, when he was apprehended for the same offense of throwing rocks through several residential windows. The total damages caused by Alexander over the series of vandalism incidents is estimated at well over $20,000. The vandalism incidents appear random, and the detectives do not believe Alexander was specifically targeting the various victims.
Alexander owns a gold 2000 Lexus GS300 and used his vehicle while committing the acts of vandalism. Pasadena Police Detectives are urging anyone with video footage of Alexander and/or his vehicle involved in these crimes to contact Detective Anderson at (626) 744-4663 or brananderson@cityofpasadena.net.
Charges
On Wednesday, 2/28/24, the series of cases were presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. The following charges were filed against Alexander:
- 19 felony counts of PC 594 – Vandalism
- 4 misdemeanor counts of PC 594 – Vandalism
Alexander is in custody and his bail is set at $950,000.
