Today’s rain has resulted in cancellations of many events in the area.

      By News Desk

      Here’s what’s canceled and what’s still on:

      Sunday

1- Strictly Ballroom @ Old Pasadena Film Festival: CANCELLED

We are so bummed to announce that the Central Park screening of Strictly Ballroom has been cancelled due to rain and thunderstorm warnings.

2- Jazz Verspers on Sunday: On

      Still on.

3- Open Hands @ Levitt Pavilion: CANCELLED, Postponed

Friends and families planning to attend our Open Hands jazz concert, we are POSTPONING the show due to more thunder and rain in the forecast this evening. We would like to keep all of our patrons, performers, and staff safe above all. Please stay tuned to our pages for updates when we have a date rescheduled.

4- The Sweet Note Quartet @ Summer Jazz Concert Series: Interrupted

Unfortunately today;s concert was cut short due to the weather. Join us next week for Tony Inzalaco.

5- S. Pas. Green Living Expo & Clean Air Car Show: Interrupted

      Interrupted due to the weather.

      Saturday

1- 5th Annual Hahamongna Walkabout: CANCELLED

We love the rain, but the high probability of thunderstorms this afternoon has led us to cancel today’s Hahamongna Walkabout.

2- South Pasadena Arts Crawl: OPEN but Outside Activities Cancelled

The Arts Crawl is on, but the outside activities are canceled.

The merchants will be open, and the inside concerts are still on! The gastrobus just arrived. So come on out and eat, listen to music and take advantage of some great sales.

      3- The Folly Bowl 2015: CANCELLED – Rescheduled for August 1st & Sept. 12th

It is with mixed emotions that we are postponing tonight’s Folly Bowl concert because of rain! Phranc will be rescheduled for Saturday, September 12th. Non-Credo will be rescheduled for Aug 1. We hope you will be able to come to both of these amazing concerts. Thanks for your patience!!!

4- Mariachi Divas @ Levitt Pavilion: CANCELLED – Rescheduled for August 13th

A little rain never hurt anyone, but lightning could. For that reason, we will have to postpone our concert tonight to August 13th. We are thankful for water in this drought and look forward to seeing you back at the park with the Mariachi Divas in August!

5- The Brian Hughes Band @ Farnsworth Park Summer Concert Series – Altadena: CANCELLED

We gave it our best shot, but the rain has not let up! We can’t even do the load in in this rain.

6- Creature from the Black Lagoon @ Old Pasadena Film Festival: CANCELLED

The Central Park screening of Creature from the Black Lagoon has been cancelled due to rain and thunderstorm warnings.

7- Juno @ Old Pasadena Film Festival: ON

The showing is still on. Bring your umbrella and a blanket and enjoy the show.

      > Movie in Park tonight at Washington Park – Cancelled.
      > Food Street Cinema tonight at Victory Park – Cancelled.
      > Outdoor Parks after Dark activities tonight at Robinson Park – Cancelled.
      > Outdoor swimming at all City swim facilities – Cancelled.
