      Pasadena’s historic homeowners can learn how to enjoy modern efficiency and comfort while protecting their home’s character (@ Polytechnic School).

      Women Making Dollars and Sense  (@ Armory Center).

      – 11:00 am – 6:00 pm: SGV Pride*

      13th annual San Gabriel Valley Pride event (@ Memorial Park).

      Origami– 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Curious Art of Origami

      Exhibition opening reception that features art works by three of the most renowned origami artists in the country while highlighting the diversity of contemporary origami art.  (@ Shumei America – Pasadena).

      – 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Building Blocks Against Climate Change

      On Saturday, September 20, Southern California will join tens of thousands of people demonstrating in New York City against climate change. (@ Wilshire Blvd.).

      – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Haiku @ USC Pacific Asia Museum

      No membership fee, and beginners are welcome (@ USC Pacific Asia Musuem).
