Monday
– 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Labor Day Rally to Address Poverty in Los Angeles!
If you like to make the actual Labor Day matter, and you happen to be in town, the Labor Day Rally takes place in downtown L.A., where Los Angeles mayor is expected to announce his new minimum wage initiative. The Labor Day Rally will also address Poverty in Los Angeles (@ Martin Luther King Junior Park).

2- Don’t let the festivities turn into fatalities this long weekend. Now through Labor Day, September 1, Pasadena Police Department will be aggressively targeting drunk and drugged drivers as part of a nationwide effort to end impaired driving and save lives.

Labor Day is a glorious holiday because your child will be going back to school the next day. It would have been called Independence Day, but that name was already taken.
