After the City of Pasadena declared the month of October “Walktober,” this event was organized to raise awareness about the many benefits of walking.
Organized by Downtown Pasadena Neighborhood Association (DPNA), the walk starts at the Pasadena Playhouse District and ends in Old Pasadena for Happy Hour at one of Pasadena’s newest watering holes, Der Wolfskopf.
Walkers will traverse some of the “Pasadena Passages,” a series of alleyways, streets, and courtyards, which if linked via pedestrian improvements, have the potential to make the City’s downtown core even more unique and “walkable.”
This guided tour will provide attendees an opportunity to learn more about City’s ongoing efforts to improve comfort and safety for pedestrians, provide suggestions/input on how it can be made even more walkable, while connecting with other walking enthusiasts over a libation (price not included:).
