The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk started to issue Vote by Mail ballots today for the upcoming November 2024 election.

Vote by Mail ballots will be mailed to all registered voters in Los Angeles County. Vote in the safety of your home and return your ballot by Mail.
Mailing of Vote by Mail ballots begins no later than 29 days prior to Election Day, which makes it Oct. 3, 2024.
How to Return your Ballot
- By mail, remember no postage is necessary
- At any participating Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box location
- At any Vote Center in L.A. County
If your ballot is postmarked by Election Day and received within 7 days, the County will process, verify and count that ballot.
Voters can receive personalized text messages, emails and/or automated voice messages about their Vote by Mail ballot by subscribing to Where’s My Ballot, a free service available to all registered voters that gives updated information on where your ballot is and when you can expect to receive it.
