Want to make sure our unhoused neighbors count?

Volunteer for the annual overnight event that helps Los Angeles County cities to plan services and programs, known as the 2026 Greater Los Angeles Point in Time (PIT) Homeless Count.
The PIT Count is an annual census that counts our neighbors experiencing unsheltered homelessness. The PIT Count helps communities plan services and programs to appropriately address local needs, measure homelessness, and identify strengths and gaps in a community homelessness assistance system.
The PIT Count for San Gabriel Valley communities will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, starting at 8pm. If you would like to volunteer for the 2026 PIT Count for any LA County community, register at count.lahsa.org/pages/volunteer-registration. (Note that even previous volunteers need to re-register.)
