Even the Alhambra police station was represented, with a bike rodeo, teaching kids how to ride their bikes safely. Fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, greens, peppers, mushrooms, peaches, and citruses were available. Potted plants, bonsai trees, orchids, and cut flowers were just a few steps away. If all this shopping left anyone hungry or thirsty, milk tea, Elote, and agua fresca were there to save the day.
Chafolio Tea is a vendor that has been in the market for two years. Their loose-leaf teas are hand-picked in China on farms where they meticulously pick only the richest part of the leaves. Other decadent finds like honey, fresh eggs and bread, and even Wagyu steaks were for sale.
This market happens every Sunday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at 100 South 2nd St, Alhambra, CA 91801.
