Employees of JPL and Alhambra Unified are planning to protest the Vaccine Mandate on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.

A group of JPL/NASA employees will be protesting from 7:00 am-12:00 pm at the entrance to JPL (corner of Oak Grove Drive and Foothill Blvd). They are urging JPL management to re-evaluate the terms of their Vaccine Mandate and square them with employee rights, honor employee’s religious freedoms, expand COVID testing to all employees, and more.
Meanwhile, forty employees of the Alhambra Unified School District who have been sent home on unpaid leave for not taking the vaccine, will be protesting at the Alhambra Unified School District at 8:00 am. They say they were denied their religious exemptions with no explanation and were offered no reasonable accommodations to stay on their jobs.

Thank you for sharing. My son attends Alhambra schools and I am glad that those that don’t want to keep him safe are not allowed on campus.
With all due respect, those that are not vaxxed, have to be regularly tested in order to enter certain places. So, if anything, they are the ones going out of the way to ensure that they enter places, ONLY if they show a negative COVID test. Whereas vaccinated people aren’t required to test, and they could be carrying and spreading, and they don’t even know it. Vaccines only help protect the individual that got it. Not those around them.
I don’t think anti-vaxxers are going to win this battle. SCOTUS appears not to be on their side. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-supreme-court-rejects-religious-challenge-maine-vaccine-mandate-2021-10-29/
People in GENERAL don’t seem to be on their side. They’re not all anti-vaxxers necessarily, but anti-mandate.
