The Obama administration is holding a community meeting about the future of the San Gabriel Mountains to explore opportunities for enhancing access, recreational use and protection of scenic, cultural and historic areas of interest in the mountains.
A movement to tell the Administration to designate this magnificent place as a national monument is underway.
