The Great American Swing Band to Close Out Pasadena Senior Center’s Summer Concert Series

The Pasadena Senior Center will continue its year-long celebration of 65 years in the community with a special “Music Through the Decades” Summer Concert Series.

The series ends with a concert on Labor Day, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Pasadena Senior Center. Each week of the series celebrates a different era of popular music perfect for dancing, reminiscing, and celebrating together. This free concert series is open to all. Reservations are suggested and can be made by visiting this website.

The Labor Day concert will feature the Great American Swing Band performing music of the 1930’s and 1940’s. The Great American Swing Band, a fifteen piece swing band (including a vocalist), performs the Big Band sounds of the 1940’s. Performances include Standards, Swing, Big Band, Jazz, Dixieland, Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Roll, and Contemporary Music.
