A series of storm systems will bring mountain snow, rain, gusty winds, and possibly thunderstorms this week.

Mountain road delays or closures are possible, including Interstate 5 near the Tejon Pass / Grapevine.
Wednesday morning
- Widespread light rain (0.25 to 0.75 inches)
- Highest chances: 10:00 pm Tues. to 10:00 am Wed.
- Snow levels: 4,500 to 5,500 feet.
- 10-20% of thunderstorms.
Wednesday night – Thursday morning
- Scattered light showers, focused over mountains
- Highest chances: 6:00 pm Wed. to 10:00 am Thu.
- Snow levels: 4,000 to 4,500 feet.
- 1-5 Grapevine: 20-30% chance of 1 to 2 inches of snow.
- Northerly wind gusts: 30-50 mph.
Saturday
- 40 -70% chance of light rain.
- Snow levels around 3,000 feet.
- Moderate risk of mountain delays/closures.
- Moderate to strong northerly winds.
For the weekend
The National Weather Service recommends the following:
- Avoid traveling to mountain areas.
- Bring food and water in case of long road delays.
- Check on road closures prior to traveling, and keep up with the forecast.
