Built in 1898, the Castle was designed by architect Frederick I. Roehrig with Moorish, Spanish and Victorian influences, and has turn-of-the-century glamour and charm. Today, the Castle has become one of the most cherished historic buildings in Pasadena and remains a majestic centerpiece of the city.

This annual event invites the community inside the holiday-adorned rooms of Castle Green and to learn about the way Architect Frederick Roehrig influenced Los Angeles. It’s a way to experience the wonder of Pasadena’s early golden era up close.
General Admission ticket includes access to the entire ground floor, 20+ residential condominiums, Penthouse, and our iconic Bridge of the magnificent building. Enjoy the holiday party of the season on the ground floor with fantastic entertainment and refreshments. A GA ticket will include: a self-guided tour available (of the entire building), live piano performance, photo booth, lawn games (weather permitting), and bite-sized holiday snacks and refreshments (as supplies last).
Sunday, December 14: Gates open at 11:00 am – you can arrive at your convenience through 3:00 pm. Tickets will be available on the day of at the gate at $70.00 each (Subject to availability and capacity).
**The Castle reserves a select number of tickets for Altadena residents at a discounted price. Please email events@castlegreen.com to receive your discount code.
Please note that elevator service will only be available for those needing handicap access.
