This new store, converted from a former Tommy’s Drive-Thru, replaces the previous Starbucks across the street to offer a more convenient drive-thru option for customers.
The coffee tasting and community event was attended by notable community leaders, including Councilwoman Felicia Williams; Mayor Victor Gordo; Dan Davidson, founder of Coffee With A Cause; Erik Taylor, Starbucks Regional Director; Jennifer Vanderpool, Starbucks District Manager; and, Rob Rinow, Starbucks Store Manager.
Starbucks has partnered with Coffee With A Cause to provide mentorship and job opportunities for youth interns. Local Starbucks team members volunteer to support interns through mentoring, and program graduates are offered interview opportunities with Starbucks, helping pave the way for meaningful employment. One Coffee With A Cause intern has already joined the team at this new location, showcasing the program’s impact on young individuals in the community.
