The South Pasadena Library Restoration Concerts season launches the new year with a performance on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 4:00 pm by the AlmaNova Duo, joined by percussionist Till Richter.

The award-winning ensemble AlmaNova Duo is an innovative flute and guitar duo presenting an eclectic program of chamber music composed by Almer Imamovic.
Tickets will be available at the door for $25 or online at friendsofsopaslibrary.org/restoration-concerts for $26. The concert is presented by the Restoration Concerts Committee of the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library and will be held in the beautiful historic Library Community Room at 1115 El Centro St. in South Pasadena.
The Restoration Concerts Committee says this about their special guests:
Flutist Jessica Pierce and guitarist Almer Imamovic are both masters of their instruments, elevating the flute and guitar ensemble to the highest level of virtuosity and artistry. Their music has been featured in various film and TV projects. Their first CD recording ‘Debut’ features original works by Mr. Imamovic, inspired by the sounds and folk melodies of his native Bosnia.
Till Richter is a professional drummer, playback engineer and multi- instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Braunschweig, Germany, Till started playing the drums at age three and classical piano at age six and he has studied drumming with several renowned masters of the percussion instruments. He is now a member of the faculty at Los Angeles College of Music.
