South Pasadena Gears Up for a Frightfully Fun Boo Bash on October 24

Get ready for a night of spooky thrills and festive fun as the City of South Pasadena hosts its annual Boo Bash on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Orange Grove Park, located at 815 Mission Street.

Formerly known as Spooktacular!, Boo Bash promises a spirited Halloween celebration for all ages. This beloved community event is packed with entertainment, tasty treats, and activities that are sure to delight ghouls and goblins of every kind.

Highlights include:

• Local food trucks serving delicious eats
• Classic carnival games and thrilling inflatables
• A live DJ spinning spooky (and danceable) tunes
• Costume contests with prizes for all age groups—including pets!

Costume Contest Schedule (Main Stage):

• 6:00 p.m. – Ages 2 and under
• 6:15 p.m. – Ages 3–5
• 6:30 p.m. – Ages 6–8
• 6:45 p.m. – Ages 9–12
• 7:00 p.m. – Ages 13–17
• 7:15 p.m. – Family & Group Costumes
• 7:30 p.m. – Pets

Costumes will be judged based on creativity, effort, and overall Halloween spirit, with winners announced shortly after each group takes the stage.
