SIERRA MADRE – ColoradoBoulevard.net:

Officers with the Sierra Madre Police Department were dispatched to the 00 block of West Grandview Avenue on June 1, 2022, at approximately 11:15 am for a report of an injured woman.

When officers arrived they found a woman in her 30s suffering from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Paramedics from the Sierra Madre Fire Department treated the injured woman and transported her to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation but have confirmed that the public was not in danger as a result of this incident.
