Our new neighbor in Downtown Pasadena, The Planetary Society, is offering a sweet adventure to space for your…selfie!
By News Desk
The adventure of space exploration for your selfie will be aboard the 2016 LightSail mission! LightSail is designed to demonstrate solar sailing, using the momentum of sunlight to propel small spacecraft through space.
You can submit your selfie and be a part of the world’s first citizen-funded solar sail adventure, by doing the following:
- Take a photo of yourself
- Submit it to the “Selfie to Space” link
- Fill in your name, email address (and country).
- And voila! It’s done.
Sorry tweens, the only restriction is that you have to be at least 18 years of age.
After you select a selfie to send to space, don’t forget to share it on social media using #SelfieToSpace to see it appear on their page.
