Hosted by the Friends of the Sierra Madre Public Library and the Library Foundation, stop by the Sierra Madre Public Library (440 W Sierra Madre Blvd.) between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024 to write your notes on the original 1955 wooden bookshelves. No registration required.
The Sierra Madre Public Library has been temporarily relocated to 350 W Sierra Madre Blvd, for the duration of the Library Meaningful Improvement Project funded by $10.6M in state and federal grants. The renovation of the Library at 440 W Sierra Madre Blvd. may take up to two years and will include a 5,000 square foot expansion, an additional south facing entrance, updating the building for seismic and ADA, and updating the Library grounds.

The Sierra Madre Public Library website says that the temporary location will open in January, 2024, not December, 2023.
