Sat, Jan. 17 – Introduction to Pasadena by Bike

A scenic ride through Pasadena that’s hosted by Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition and Caltech Bike Lab.

Join us for a group ride through Pasadena. We’ll be riding at a friendly pace to accommodate most levels of cyclists.

Starting at 9:00 am

The (approximately) 12mi route will start at the Southwest corner of PCC and Northeast corner of CIT. We will follow bike routes to East Pasadena passing Allen and Sierra Madre Villa Stations before heading West to Old Town Pasadena along Colorado Blvd. After passing Norton Simon Museum, we will head back to Old Town and pass Memorial Park Station as we head South past Central Park and Del Mar Station. Our return will be via California Blvd and South Lake.

We will ride as a group, obeying all traffic laws (stop at stop signs, red lights, etc.), while helping each other along the way. This isn’t a race.

Tip: the Gold Line is a great way to get back should you find the ride too much.

What to bring

• Helmet
• Water
• Spare Tube(s)!

Optional: Lock, Cash, TAP Card (for return via Metro Gold Line)

Lastly, you are responsible for your own safety! Please wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws.

Pasadena City College Parking Lot #3 Cordova Entrance (NE corner of Hill and Del Mar), 9am meetup, 9:30am rollout.
