The City of San Gabriel Fire Department will ensure that Santa Claus is on hand for their 47th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!

Festivities kick off on Tuesday, December 5, at 6:00 pm in the Plaza Park, at 428 S. Mission Drive in San Gabriel. The Tree Lighting is scheduled for 7:00 pm. This leaves plenty of time to enjoy a jam-packed evening of family fun before the event ends at 8:30 pm. Of course, there will be food trucks!
Entertainment will be provided by Dewey Elementary School, Roosevelt Elementary School Orchestra and Concert Band, and Arcadia High School Choir. The Community Services Dance Classes will showcase their performers. Musical performances by the Dewey Woodcraft Rangers, Gabrielino High School Choir, San Gabriel High School Marching Band and Community Services’ dance class students will bring the holiday spirit.
After the Tree is lit, Santa should settle in for traditional interaction with the kids. There will be mini train rides, ornament decorating, and photo opportunities. New this year is a Taste of San Gabriel. Attendees can enjoy free bite sized food samples from various San Gabriel eateries.
Attendees requiring specialized accommodation are encouraged to a make a direct request to the Community Services Department at 626-308-2875 at least 48 hours prior to event.
