Vaccinations rates were curtailed during the shortages that developed as crippling winter weather brought the eastern part of the country—from which vaccinations were to be shipped – to a standstill. Those doses are now arriving in L.A. County.
With the approval of the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine on the weekend, access to the vaccine will improve in areas of L.A. County where vaccination rates are the lowest.
