Get ready for an evening filled with music, dance, food, and community as the City of San Gabriel hosts its annual Cinco de Mayo Mercado in the heart of the historic Mission District.

This free outdoor celebration, presented in partnership with Telemundo 52, honors the rich culture and traditions of Mexico and Latin America.
Live entertainment will fill the plaza with the colorful rhythms of Ballet Folklorico by Ballet de Sally Savedra, Aztec dancing by Xipe Totec, and live music by San Miguel Band. Don’t miss the crowd-favorite “Grito” Contest, where participants are invited to take the stage and share their most spirited celebratory shout.
Savor authentic flavors from popular food trucks like Chano’s Tacos, Oaxaca On Wheels, and Tacos La Doña. For guests 21 and over, the beer garden hosted by Pez Cantina will offer cocktails, sangria, and beer.
Visitors can also browse handcrafted goods from local artisans, enjoy family activities—including an inflatable mechanical bull—and capture memories at the Telemundo 52 photo booth, complete with giveaways and more.
