On Tuesday, May 15, 2024, at approximately 5:22 am, the San Gabriel Police Department received a call of a male on the ground near a bus stop in the 500 block of W. Valley Boulevard.

San Gabriel Police Officers arrived and located a male in his early 40s on the ground. The male was found unresponsive, and officers immediately began to perform CPR until relieved by the San Gabriel Fire Department. After several minutes of life-saving measures, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There is no evidence of foul play, but the investigation is ongoing by the San Gabriel Police Department and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, who will determine the cause of death.
