The San Gabriel Police Department will host its Community Academy from Wednesday, March 6 to May 8.

The event aims to provide the community with an interactive and comprehensive overview of the department through hands-on activities including police tactics and firearms safety.

The applications are available online or in person at the San Gabriel Police Station (625 South Del Mar Ave). The deadline to apply is Wednesday, February 28. Applicants will be required to pass a basic background check.
