Repair Cafe Returns to Altadena

Repair Cafe returns to the Altadena Library for a free, all-purpose repair party for and by the community.

There will be repairers for electronics, clothing, bikes, knife-sharpening, gluing, woodwork, jewelry, and more. If you’re looking for assistance in fixing any of your beloved belongings, this is the perfect opportunity. Extend the life of your belongings while learning valuable repair skills. The Repair Cafe is all about sustainability, reducing waste, and creating a sense of community through shared knowledge.

In addition to repair stations where volunteers offer their expertise to help fix personal and household items, there will also be plant sharing and the “Really, Really Free Market” where everything is 100% off.

These services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are free of charge. However, due to the volunteer nature of the event, availability of services and successful repairs are not guaranteed. Additionally, participants are asked to bring their own replacement parts if needed. This event will take place in Altadena Main Library’s parking lot.
