      POETRY CORNER

      – 1/14/15

*Part of the title of this week’s Poetry Corner is from a haiku published below by Michael Rehling. (Click on photos to read captions and enlarge).

      Marie Jeanne Sakhinis-De Mei

      Sous le choc
      la liberté entachée
      se renforce…
      une rivière d’encre
      irrigue chaque parcelle

      in shock
      the freedom tainted
      gets stronger…
      a river of ink
      irrigates each plot

      if i could
      . . je suis

It is wonderful Kathabela, that with your love and compassion you are reaching out and bringing together poets from other lands and countries .

        From now on- traveler.
        Not where are you from,
        Only, where are you going?
And, the one sharing the road,
        Your mother & father.
Brother- the other name for bread.
