crowd of trees
at the creek edge

wind blown clouds cross the puddle

water’s edge
so many shades of blue
in a dayΟ Ο Ο
at rest
in the stream

the way
light and leaves
join the streamΟ Ο Ο
lakeside walk…
leaving the blue
as it isΟ Ο Ο
before we were here
the centuries
already became eons,
the gravity of light on water
falling into dark
Tom Clausen is a poet who walks the woods with his camera near his home in Ithaca, NY. The area is full of reflections for him. He says “I am very much drawn to water and light…I love clouds and trees and enjoy trying to capture or anything that suggests the fleeting passage of being here”.
