just one love

pale pink petals
are falling

her lonely sorrow

David Terelinck
a weeping cherry
scatters petals across
the depths of night—
suddenly orphaned
by mother and country
David Terelinck is from Sydney, Australia. He says” I am fortunate enough to attend the Sydney Opera House quite often for wonderful performances. I came to love opera through exposure by significant others in my life, especially my partner Robert Miller. Madame Butterfly is always a favorite due to the haunting music, aching arias, and tragic tale of doomed love. Susan’s images evoke all of that for me when I lose myself within them.”
