you released
firefly glimmer drifting high
beyond my reach
re-reading your words
all I have

Vahe Simonyan
We must awaken from the shadows
The weight with which the body sinks
We strive for that we think is Truth
Yet once achieved, the feeling shrinksIt’s not the goal which brings us Truth
But Truth itself from mindful youth
For once we fuel the Truth un-drained
The key stays turned, and luck sustained
Vahe Simonyan is the Creative Editor of Colorado Boulevard. He is a photographer and shares other duties in film and social media.

life’s an easter egg hunt

you never know
what’s in your hands

Dalton, true enough. I had a rabbit in hand once, the one who lays eggs, but damn if he didn’t crap on me. I mighty try Russian roulette if I believed in luck. Easter is the best bet. Keep up the straight talk, its a break from all the ethereal poetry out there.
