      N.E. Taylor

      one red rose
      in my garden
      dream come true

      ice cream
      all 37 flavors
      dream come true

These haiku are by N.E. Taylor in Los Angeles, CA, whose garden has become a dream-come-true for writing inspiration.

      Michael Czarnecki

      that one sweet moment
      many decades ago
      may still be relived

      that one sweet moment
      journeying poetic road
      will it come again

      what to make of it
      butterfly appears in dream
      who is it really

Michael Czarnecki lives in Wheeler, New York. He makes his living giving poetry readings and workshops around the U.S. He muses “who’d have ever thought a kid from a working class Polish neighborhood would now be living a poet’s life”.

      dreamchaser
I thought I was too old
      and yet
      this book of tanka
      that bears my name

Debbie Strange is a Canadian dreamer, whose minimalist poetry, haiga, tanka art, and photography are influenced by themes both real and imagined in this “strange” and wonderful world we inhabit!

      > Kathabela is delighted to present this Poetry Corner in the midst of her own “Dream Come True” in Kamakura, Japan. She says “Our dear friend Mariko Kitakubo has been leading us through this incredible dreamworld, where hydrangea and iris are in full bloom. On the one rainy day we visited the most amazing aquarium we have ever seen. We are here sharing the wonders chosen for our eyes by our very inspiring and special poet friend”.
