Using the popular board game Monopoly as a recurring metaphor, writer-director Ennis explores how billionaire donors like the Koch Brothers and others, enabled by Supreme Court decisions like Citizens United and McCutcheon, influence both our electoral and legislative processes through widespread campaign ontributions to candidates who share their anti-government views, while dedicated grassroots activists and artists work diligently to change the game and resurrect democracy as we have known it.
John Wellington Ennis and executive producer Holly Mosher join us for a community discussion following the film.
Admission is free and the facility is accessible to disabled persons. For more information visit the film’s website.
