Pasadena Society of Artists’ Summer Juried Exhibition

Pasadena Society of Artists presents its Oil & Acrylic Exhibition beginning July 15 online at both the PSA website and ISSUU.com.

The 29 artworks entered by 12 artists, and accepted by juror Rob Sherrill, were painted in oil or acrylic only. In addition, a full-color printed catalog will be available for purchase within a few days of the opening.

Juror Rob Sherrill received his degree from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and is an experienced designer and art director.  Currently he is creating commissioned art and enjoys painting figures, landscapes, and urban areas.  He said:

Reading about artists and considering their points of view was fascinating and thought-provoking.

Artwork may be purchased directly from participating artists: Fred Chuang, Rick Drobner, Sonali Kolhatkar, Joanna Kos, Eileen Oda Leaf, Rosina Maize, Janet Manalo, Kevin McCants, David Sikes, Marilyn Stempel, Kathleen Swaydan, and Tsvetelina Valkov.

Founded in 1925, the Pasadena Society of Artists is one of the area’s original professional artist groups.  The Society is noted for its vigorous, active membership, wide diversity of artistic statement, and high professional standards. Membership is by juried submission.
