The City of Pasadena has acknowledged a gathering near a location within the city, and the Pasadena Police Department has been actively monitoring the situation. Authorities have reassured the public that their primary focus remains on ensuring safety while upholding the right to peaceful assembly.
An official statement from the City emphasized the importance of non-violent protest, recognizing demonstrations as a legitimate means for advocating for change. “We encourage all participants to remain peaceful and law-abiding,” the statement read.

We understand the anxiety and fear that these reports can create for many in our community. I urge our community to remain calm, united, and peaceful, and not be baited or provoked into violence. The right to peacefully assemble and express ourselves is a fundamental part of who we are—not just as Pasadenans, but as Americans.
We will update our community as more information becomes available. Our City remains firmly committed to ensuring that every resident—regardless of immigration status—is treated with dignity and respect. We will continue working to make sure all our neighbors feel safe, supported, and cared for, especially during times of uncertainty.”
