Behind-the-scenes photos, taken on the roof of the historic theater, provide a striking glimpse into the creative process. The roof, which once housed a rehearsal studio and later served as a basketball court, offers a unique setting for the cast and crew as they prepare for the play’s February 26 opening. This marks an exciting moment as the Playhouse prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary in May 2025.
Brandon Gill stars as Booth, and Brandon Micheal Hall stars as Lincoln in Topdog/Underdog (February 26 – March 23, 2025) by Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Gregg T. Daniel.
The Playhouse has also launched a “Pay It Forward” ticket initiative, allowing audiences and community members to purchase tickets that will be distributed free of charge to those affected by the tragic Los Angeles fires.
Tickets for Topdog/Underdog are available now at pasadenaplayhouse.org, by phone at 626-356-7529, and at the Box Office at 39 South El Molino Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101.
