Here are some highlights from the Obon Festival and Bon Odori.
*Bon odori: Japanese folk-dancing, everyone welcome! 6:30 – 7, 7:30-8
*Taiko performances: 7 pm, L.A. Matsuri Taiko (Saturday), Taiko of West L.A. Buddhist Temple (Sunday)
*Food booths: chicken teriyaki, maki sushi/inari sushi (Saturday only), chirashi rice (Sunday only) beef teriyaki, beef chow mein, cold soba noodles, manju, spam musubi, unagi donburi, chili rice, snow cones and more!
*Martial arts demonstrations: In the gym annex from about 5 pm – 6:30 pm
*Tea Ceremony (Sunday only)
*Ikebana Exhibit
*Bingo
*Silent Auction
*Raffle
*Craft & Gift booths
