On Wednesday, January 29, the Pasadena Museum of History (PMH) held its annual meeting at the PMH, 470 W. Walnut Street, Pasadena.

The PMH is a private, nonprofit museum and research library dedicated to the history, art and culture of historic Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley.
President, William E. Thomson, Executive Director Jeannette I. O’Malley, and history staff members Brad O’Neil, Michelle Turner, Anuja Navare, and Janet Kadin welcomed the PMH members and reported on activities of the PMH during 2019. According to these reports, the PMH hosted more than 22,000 visitors, and the Research Library & Archives department assisted nearly 1,000 people and stored over 220,000 photo negatives.
Colleen Dunn Bates publisher of Prospect Park Books was honored with the Lynne Emery Award, and Lourinda Bray of Running Horse Studio was honored with the Community Angel Award.
The mission of PMH, which essentially remains unchanged from 1924 until today, is to collect, preserve, and exhibit materials that document the founding and early history of Pasadena, the Crown City. Click here to become a member.
