The Pasadena Museum of History is inviting the community to join in the holiday cheer at its Free Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 7, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

This festive event, open to visitors of all ages, promises an afternoon of family-friendly activities, historical exploration, and unique shopping opportunities, all free of charge.
A Winter Wonderland at the Fenyes Mansion
Step into the spirit of the season as the museum’s historic Fényes Mansion is decked out in stunning Edwardian-style holiday décor. Guests will have the chance to explore the mansion through mini self-guided tours, providing a glimpse into the past with a holiday twist. The festive atmosphere will transport visitors to a bygone era, making it a perfect way to enjoy the season while learning about Pasadena’s rich history.
Hands-On Holiday Fun
For those looking for creative activities, Art 2 Go will host a snow people craft station that’s fun for all ages. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to get into the holiday spirit while making their own winter-themed art.
Rare Museum Access
The Finnish Folk Art Museum, a hidden gem within the Pasadena Museum of History, will also be open for this special event. It’s a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the museum’s unique collection, which highlights traditional Finnish craftsmanship and artistry.
Exhibitions and Local Holiday Shopping
Two exceptional exhibitions will be on display in the History Center Galleries, showcasing Pasadena’s vibrant past and culture. Additionally, the open house offers an exclusive shopping experience, with items created by local artists and artisans.
