      The 25th Annual Pasadena Chalk Festival is back on Father’s Day Weekend, and we have the full schedule for you.

      Over 600 dedicated and talented chalk artists from Southern California and beyond are expected to come together at the Paseo Colorado to showcase their talents and art form.

      The main attractions for both days will be:

      1- Animation Alley

      Watch artists create amazing animation with chalk. Lower theatre near Starbucks and Upper Theatre near Cold Stone Creamery.

      2- Chalk of Fame

      Presenting murals that represent tv and film. Upper theatre near ArcLight.

      3- Kids Chalkland

      12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Kids can create Father’s Day cards for dad. Plus free face painting with donation. Sat & Sun at Euclid Court (near Happy Nails).

      4- Main Stage Music

      In addition to watching artists at work, you can enjoy live music throughout the weekend.

      Saturday

      8:00 am – 10:00 am: Steve Ruiz – Native American Instrumentals
      10:00 am – 2:00 pm  Relish
      3:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Roger Espinoza

      Sunday

      8am-10am – Midnight Ride
      3pm-7pm – Frater

      5- Silent Auction at the Art Gallery

      Make sure to visit the Silent Auction and bid on chalk artists’ original work on canvases in the Art Gallery, located in Garfield Promenade (all proceeds will benefit Light Bringer Project).

      6- People’s Choice Award

      Vote for your favorite mural at the Info booth in Garfield Promenade Saturday & Sunday.

      Voting info:

      5:00 pm: Ballots are collected and tallied.

      7- Awards Ceremony

      Sunday

      7:00 pm: Main Stage.

      Awards include:

      • People’s Choice
      • Best in Animation Alley
      • Best Use of Color
      • Best in Festival, and more!

      8- Pasadena Police Classic car Show

      10:00 am – 3:00 pm: Pasadena Police Classic Car Show on Green St. between Los Robles and Marengo.

      The show will feature classic and fun cars as well as the Pasadena Police Helicopter.

      Parking is available in the parking garage with entrances on Colorado Blvd or Green Street.

      • 7:00 am – 3:00 pm: Green Street will be closed on Sunday for the Pasadena Police Classic Car Show.

      Parking rates in Paseo Colorado parking garage are:

      • 1st 90 minutes free with validation (call stores directly to see if they validate), every 30 minutes after is $1.50. Max is $6 with validation; $9 without validation. (Lost ticket pays daily max without validation which is $9).
      • If you don’t mind walking you can park on adjacent streets. Some adjacent streets are exempt from the 2-hour parking restrictions, be proactive and read the signs.
