An event that used to be held on the weekend of Father’s Day, the Pasadena Chalk Festival is officially announced to take place in person on the weekend of October 16 to 17, 2021, along with a June 20th virtual pre-recorded event on pasadenachalkfestival.org
The outdoor mall, The Paseo, will once again host the full festival after its 2020 move online due to the pandemic. Nestled between Colorado Blvd and Green Street, the facility, along with the Civic Center’s pavement, will be the stage for hundreds of artists competing to showcase their talent and win prizes. The new fall schedule is a welcome respite to many artists and fans as it provides cooler weather than the previous years’ hot summer days.
Details and artists’ applications for the in-person event will be provided on the newly acquired domain, pasadenachalkfestival.org. (The old website is no longer functioning).

That’s great news. The event is magical. The artist really put their talents to the test and the results are always amazing. It’s a treat for all of those who attend.
