May is Older Americans Month as proclaimed by the federal Administration for Community Living. This year’s theme, “Age My Way,” provides an opportunity to explore the many ways older adults can remain involved with their communities.
Pasadena resources for older adults include world-class healthcare facilities, a vibrant art and culture community, accessible public transportation, numerous senior living communities, and many organizations focused on maintaining the health and well-being of our older residents. Organizations representing these sectors will be at the May 25 celebration, including the Pasadena Senior Center, Armory Center for the Arts, and Rose Bowl Aquatics Center.
This free event is made possible with the in-kind support of Pasadena Village, Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, Villa Gardens, Dylan Thai of Modern Woodmen of America, Pasadena Senior Center, Convalescent Aid Society, and Pasadena Meals on Wheels.
