Pasadena Mayor and City Council Races and Charter Amendments
In the three contested races for seats on the Pasadena City Council and the mayoral election, the initial results show big leads for Justin Jones, Rick Cole and Gene Masuda and Mayor Victor Gordo.
Gordo, Jones and Masuda are incumbents. The leads in each race are so large, with each leader having over 60% of the vote so far, that it is very unlikely that further counting of ballots would change the outcomes.
The three City Pasadena Charter Amendments—Measures R, S and T—put on the ballot by the city council all have over 85% of the vote and will pass.
Incumbent city councilmembers Tyron Hampton and Steve Madison were re-elected with 100% of the vote as they had no opponents.
Pasadena City College Races
As in the Pasadena mayoral and city council races, there are big leads in the two PCC races.
James Aragon is far in front in his race with over 76% of the vote and will be elected to that seat. Ryan Liu also has a sizable lead with over 54% of the vote and is very likely to have won that election as well.
