Saturday and Sunday: Alta-Pasa-dena Open Studios Art Tour

A two-day weekend event where you can learn about the community, art, and artists, by visiting home studios of local artists in the Altadena and Pasadena area.

The fourth bi-annual Art Tour will have many locations where you can visit at your own leisure. Some locations will also have light refreshments and musicians.

Free to the public. Photos are permitted (except when posted otherwise,) just make sure you tag the artist’s name when you post on social media.

Purchase of art is available. Open Studios is set up in such a way to allow art lovers to pour through dozens of artworks; from large scale painting and sculpture to small intimate studies that the artists create as part of their practice. Open Studios is an artist-lead event, and they don’t take any percentage from art sales.

Open Studios started in 2013 as a small gathering with a few studios of artist friends in Altadena and Pasadena. The program has since expanded into a two day experience twice a year. Learn more about the history of Open Studios on their website.
