A panel of experts will address the implications of the New National Monument for those who know and love the San Gabriel Mountains.

What changes will the National Monument bring? Will this continue? How will the National Monument be managed? Can the public participate? Will areas excluded from the Monument on the East and West eventually added to the Monument?
The panel discussion will be moderated by Steve Scauzillo, award-winning San Gabriel Valley Tribune reporter who has covered the Monument’s creation. Panelists will include Daniel Lovato, Acting Supervisor of the Angeles National Forest; Belinda Faustinos, Chair of San Gabriel Mountains Forever; Tim Brick, Managing Director of the Arroyo Seco foundation, and Edward Belden, Southern California Program Associate, National Forest Foundation.
Free and open to the public. Reception, 7 pm; Program, 7:30 pm.
