New electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are now available at Victory Park, 2575 Paloma Street in Pasadena.
By News Desk
These chargers expand Pasadena’s robust public EV charging network with the addition of three new Level 3, fast charging units, and 21 Level 2 chargers to meet EV driver needs.
Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo and Councilmember Gene Masuda joined City Manager Miguel Márquez and Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) Interim General Manager David Reyes to cut an inaugural ribbon on December 2.
PWP continues to expand transportation electrification infrastructure, and currently offers over 100 publicly accessible EV charging stations throughout the city including the Marengo Charging Plaza, one of the nation’s largest fast-charging locations. Among other PWP public EV infrastructure projects, Robinson Park is undergoing charger testing with an official ribbon cutting ceremony planned for early 2025.

As of today August 18, 2025 after over a month of inoperable DC Fast Chargers at Victory Park. This is the response from the head of the program.
Hello Mr. Caballero,
We are aware of the ongoing issues with the DC fast chargers at Victory Park. Despite multiple repair attempts, we have unfortunately been unable to restore them to reliable operation.
As a result, we have made the decision to fully replace the chargers. Please note that this process will take several months to complete.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward a long-term solution.
Regards,
