The annual NASA-JPL Pasadena Open House is here again.
It takes place one weekend a year where they put their missions on display and let you roam around their sprawling facility.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 1o and 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, you can explore JPL, view our missions and projects, and speak with the scientists and engineers working on them.
Highlights include a life-size model of the Mars Curiosity rover; an interactive art installation inspired by comet 67P/
If you plan to attend, wear comfortable shoes and pack a water bottle. No bags, backpacks or ice chests are allowed, with the exception of small purses and diaper bags. Arrive early for best parking and to avoid long lines at some of the more popular exhibits. Admission and parking are free.
