Johann Sebastian Bach’s (1685-1750) Brandenburg Concerto #5 was composed during the high Baroque. Although the work is uniquely scored for solo flute, solo violin, and solo harpsichord, it is the first harpsichord concerto ever written and was eventually reworked for the new two manual harpsichord. The program will also include music of Mendelssohn and Mozart.
