Experience the music of Beethoven and Brahms in the first concert of the Mt. Lowe Chamber Players’ first concert of the 2023-2024 season featuring Michele Zukovsky (clarinet), Tina Soule (cello), and Antoinette Perry (piano).

      By News Desk

Cellist Tina Soule has been fortunate to enjoy a forty-year career as a free-lance musician in the Los Angeles area. She has performed regularly with the LA Chamber Orchestra, LA Philharmonic, Pasadena Symphony, and Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and as principal cellist with the Orange County Chamber Orchestra, Boston Ballet, and Santa Monica Symphony. For 30 years, Ms. Soule served as principal cellist with the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival. She has recorded with Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, and John Denver, and played on the scores of hundreds of films. For the last twenty years she has resided in Altadena amongst many of her esteemed and adored colleagues, some of whom she is lucky enough to make music with here today.

Antoinette Perry has appeared throughout the U.S., Europe and China as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with many of the world’s greatest musicians. Artist-faculty Emeritus at the Aspen Music Festival and School, she performed in over 100 festival concerts during her 25-year tenure there. Ms. Perry served on the UCLA piano faculty for 14 years and has been teaching at USC’s Thornton School of Music since 1996. Many of her former students are enjoying successful international careers.

Michele Zukovsky played in the Los Angeles Philharmonic for 54 years and is now teaching at Azusa Pacific, Cal State Long Beach, Pasadena Conservatory, and Citrus College.

Mt Lowe Chamber Players is a project of the Fulcrum Arts “Emerge Fiscal Sponsorship Program” and is funded by the Altadena Library, a grant from the Pasadena Community Foundation, and our generous donors. All concerts are free.
